Thank you for visiting this website. On this page, you’ll find information about the kind of information I collect from you when you:

I’ll also tell you how I use the information I collect, why I collect it and how long I’ll keep it for.

Information I collect when you visit this site

This website, in common with most websites, uses cookies. These are small text files that are placed on your computer. They won’t damage your system. My website uses cookies to tell me things like the number of times each page of the site is visited (although not by whom) and for how long each page is visited. This helps me work out, for instance:

  • Which services people are most interested in, and
  • Which of the free meditations is the most popular!

Unless you use my contact form to get in touch with me, I won’t have collected any of your personal details via this website.

If you prefer, though, you can always disable cookies on this and any other site. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. Use the Help section of your browser to find out how.

Your personal data

Any personal information I hold about you is strictly confidential. I will not pass your personal details to anyone else unless required to do so by court order.

When you make an enquiry about any of the services I offer, I will keep the contact information you give me until we’ve decided whether to work together. Unless you specifically ask me to contact you again at a later date, I’ll destroy these details if you decide these services are not for you at this time. If we do work together, I’ll keep details of our financial transactions, as required by HMRC, for five years after the last time we work together.

The records I keep to help us both

If I’m working with you as a Mindful mentor, I’ll work in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the IACTM, which I have signed up to as an IACTM-accredited coach.

While I’m teaching Mindfulness for life programmes, I keep a teaching diary. This diary helps me reflect on the things that work well, for instance, as well as helping me plan future training. The diary does not include any of your personal details and is strictly for my use only.

If you’re coming along to your first Mindful Reiki sharing session, we’ll discuss your needs and any relevant medical conditions before the session. I’ll complete a paper-based form that includes your contact details, a brief medical background if relevant and the reason(s) you’ve decided to come to a Reiki session. I’ll also make notes on your feedback and any thoughts we have on what you might need from future Reiki sessions. These notes are stored securely and are only ever seen by myself and by you. I will keep these notes for two years after our last session together, after which time I will destroy them.

Finding out what information I have about you

If you’d like to find out what information I hold about you, get in touch with your name and email address. I’ll send you an overview of the information I have. You can also ask for your details to be permanently removed from my customer records.
